“Ok” Boise really wasn’t that friendly to us. Some “low life scum sucking dog” had stolen some fuel out of our truck last night as it was parked at the best western where we stayed. My guess is that this is the work of some owner operator, who is all ready at his wits end with the higher fuel prices and now it come down to steeling in order to make ends meet and that still don’t make it right! and problem is only going to get worse as fuel prices get higher and higher, and with what looks like a looming demarcate Presidency, and even higher fuel price and possible fuel shortage do to the persisting problems in the middle east, and other factors like the falling dollar and the lack of reefing capability and countries like Iran wanting to unhook from the dollar in the oil trade, things could get really bad may be even worse than Jimmy Crater bad. Is America no are Americans that lazy that it will knowingly let these things come to pass, what would our founding father think of us? Government is to big and unafraid of it’s citizens and flightily inept to deal with any thing other then there own egos. If there is to be a demarcate Presidency a America will only fall even further down the rabbit hole of socialism, and bigger government, a weaken military, higher taxes, and a redistribution of you money and mine, all will be unavoidably. Where is that shining city on the hill? Are we at that turning point in time? I know that this question has been ask with every new generation. We must stay vigilant so we don’t headed down the path of the roman’s.

Well after dispatch figured out what the weekend crew did with our load and dealing with the fuel theft and a police report, we are now loaded and heading back east and heading for home time, Think GOD !! it as been a long run this month and I will be glade to get home for some time off..

Hello from the rustic lobby here at the best western in Boise Idaho, after getting shank one more time by weekend dispatch I decided that I needed to got out of the truck for a few hours so I got a room for the night. It’s was a little pricey at eighty dollars a night, but hay they have complementary beer and two dollar beers after that and all the perks of an eighty dollar a night room. So as I am typing this I am enjoying a Alaskan dark amber beer and it is very smooth and full flavor. It would be a runner up to my favorite beer the
Negra Modelo but I have no complaints thus far about the beer or accommodations. Any way enough with the beer review, back to what lead me here, we was going to do a relay here in Boise but no, dispatch wasn’t having any of that, the load that we was to have relayed would have headed back to Cheyenne, and then headed us home for home time, it has been a long three weeks and I am ready to get home for some time off. Oh will enjoy my beer and then the pool here in a bit and then I will go over and enjoys my self a nice big juicy steak.

Hello here we are once more in the “Peoples Republic California”, waiting on a load to get us out of here before we get attack by some liberal tree huger for us idling are tuck. All thou I really don’t think any one here cares about any one who is idling, oh well we are going to hook to IdleAire soon just not too soon. Why? Because are company is cutting back and cutting back on everything so they cut us back to just ten hours on IdleAire, witch works out great if you are just taking a your ten hour break, how -ever we are going to be laid over for more than that. They knew Friday that this load had an appointment for Sunday that been change to Monday morning, so there should have been a load ready to go. No such luck.. Oh wait there a load coming thru now.

Oh !! please if this was a protest about high gas prices wouldn’t it serve more as a protest to off ones self in front of the main stream media and in front of some major oil company? The facts are you don’t have clue what this ladies reason was for doing this, So who do we blame now? The oil company’s? the gun manufactures? The police? No the police were just doing there job. Hay I know lets’ blame her and hold her to account for her actions, it’s called “Personal Responsibility”. Has for the oil prices most of you liberals have no concept of supply and demand and that the federal reserve in some of it’s actions has devalued the dollars cussing higher oil prices or the fact the oil is traded on the open market, or the fact that you pay more in taxes than the oil company is makes off a gallon of gas.

With fuel prices climbing all most every other day, most trucking company’s are telling there drivers not to idle there trucks, or if you idle you will be penalized when the idling percentage reaches a idling preset, and then the trucks computer kicks your speed back two or three miles per hour,
Ok fine!
But have you been in a truck stop lately? Not every one is going to shut there truck off and the smell is really some thing you don’t want to think about but resembles something of an out house. So what dose that mean? if you don’t have an APU and you cant get idle-air site, here at the end of your day and if you work days that means you are more than likely parked in a already over crowded paring lot and its hot and the guy next to you is idling and there very little breeze blowing so now not only are you now getting the heat off your truck and your getting the heat from the your new now noise Neighbor. So you go get a shower and that’s helps for a wile and wile you are doing that your truck has cooled down some what However here at the end of the day it won’t really start cooling down late evening. You can not honestly be getting some good comfortable rest for that long day ahead. Is this wise and is this Safe? I say NO it is nether! It is not Safe and we should never ever comprise on safety, there are all ready to many tired drivers out there on the road pressing pick up‘s and delivery appointments. And now some states are getting on the no idling band wagon like California where they are going to fine driver if they idle, and if you talk to local law enforcement they don’t care about your idling when you are private property nor do they have the manpower to enforce such laws. So you do what you can and you park far away from every one as you can and you do you best to plan you trip you stay in route and you try to end up some where that an idle-air or a nice open area, but in the end you are still left feeling disenfranchised.
